Archie McDonald

Archie originally hails from Bute, from where he travelled working in a number of careers although he always worked with wood in his spare time.

Returning to Bute he established the Full Circle recycling project and having workshop space started working with wood in a more established way. This lead him back to college to study furniture design.

He has since moved to Glasgow, he now works part-time with a picture framer but in his "off" time he creates his own wooden pieces in his workshop. Archie loves the Arts and Crafts, Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements and mixes it together to see what comes out. We have a selection of his mirrors and clocks.
