Our Team

Angela Thomson

Angela established Artisanand, opening in August 2014, mainly with artist friends. After a career in management consultancy this was a chance to work using her skills to represent other artists and develop her own art.

Managing the gallery impacts Angela's ability to work on her own Harris Tweed art. At least having the workshop in the back of the gallery allows all the team to turn their hand to something creative when the mood strikes. It's also where Angela runs her framing business from.

Lorna C Radbourne

A stained and painted glass artist who is also known to paint too, mainly watercolours. Lorna is based in Dunning where she has her garden workshop and mini gallery displaying her and fellow artists work, Catriona Studio.

Lorna can usually be found working in the gallery on a Friday, she brings her tools and glass and constructs her wonderful 3d glass sculptures. We swap around when something comes up so if you want to see her in the gallery please give us a call to check the day(s) she's working that week.

Jackie Thomson

Returning to a love of textiles with a new embroidery sewing machine we're hoping that Jackie will join us in exhibiting some work in the future. In the meantime you'll find her perhaps helping out with some other crafts in the gallery.

In the meantime her experience in retail and as she's now living in Aberfeldy means she's a great asset joining us, you'll usually find her in the gallery on a Friday.

Whether she's greeting customers or artists Tilda's happiest when she's the centre of attention and lets us know when she's not getting quite enough attention.

Tilda - the gallery hound

Tilda joined the team in 2018 at nine weeks old. You can see her here in what is still her favourite spot, watching the world go by.

Marianne Dey

Born and raised in Aberfeldy Marianne paints the most astounding mountains and skies usually "en plein air". In more recent years she's worked on developing painting nad printing work which can be developed in the studio.

Marianne can usually be found working in the gallery on a Thursday, where you'll sometimes find her working on new work. Marianne is taking a break from the gallery this spring but should be joining us again as we head towards the summer months. Her work remains in the gallery in the meantime.

Georgia Crook

A mixed media artist with her home and workshop in Lawers on the north side of Loch Tay. Georgia first put her head around the door during the refurbishment and has been a gallery favourite since. Her sky boats, willow sculptures, hot air balloons and her accessible range are glorious additions.

Georgia is currently taking a break from the gallery while she studies for a Post Grad in Dundee. She's still contributing art to exhibitions, including her gorgeous seaweed prints.
